The theology of Global Outreach is based on the directive Jesus gave His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything He commanded. (Matthew 28:19-20)
We are committed to God's mission and to our participation in extending the Gospel to the whole world. Through global partnerships and our own missionaries, we make and deepen disciples, strengthen churches, develop leaders, and love mercy and do justice. Through ministries of mission, relief and development, our church acts globally to see more disciples among more populations in a more caring and just world.

What is Covenant World Relief?
Covenant World Relief has been the Evangelical Covenant Church’s response to human suffering and injustice in the world for more than 60 years. Through disaster relief and community development, we partner in the transformation of individuals, families, and communities. Our mission is to join God in loving, serving, and working together with the poor, the powerless, and the marginalized.
Relief is immediate assistance in times of natural or human-made disaster by providing water, shelter, and food.
Community Development is working with communities and families as they help themselves through micro-enterprise, micro-finance, sustainable water development, community health initiatives, agriculture, and sustainable food programs.
Congo Clinic Initiative
Through the CCI, Redeemer is partnering with the Covenant Church in the Congo to provide support for one of 108 medical clinics. This year we begin with a defining project, solar –generated lighting, in addition to medical supplies, medicines, and critical operational support.
Blessings of Joy
Blessings of Joy is a ministry supporting the education of orphans and poor children in Uganda, Africa through the Mweruka Junior School. What began in 2006 as an orphanage school serving 200 poor children, has grown to caring for over 320 children, providing education, meals, proper healthcare and skill training for older students.
We support a total of thirty missionaries doing vital work around the world. They are involved in various ministries and are in many areas including France, Belgium, Cameroon, Middle East, Japan, China, Chile, Congo, Central African Republic, Indonesia and Uganda. Eleven of our missionaries are people who grew up at Redeemer or are currently members. Five families are Evangelical Covenant Church World Missionaries.
