Leanne Polvado Benton graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the School of Music at Oral Roberts University. She completed her Master of Church Music degree from the School of Theology in 1997 and in 2001, earned her Doctorate of Educational Leadership (D. Ed.) degree. Leanne served as Music Ministries and Television Music Director at her alma mater. She helped develop the new Worship Arts degree curriculum and taught as Adjunct Music Professor at Oral Roberts University. She produced and led worship for several album projects featuring original music from both students and alumni such as Darrell Evans, Kari Jobe, Paul Klein, Jared Anderson, and the Desperation Band.
In 2007, Leanne was called to Menlo Park Presbyterian Church (Menlo Church) to work with Lead Pastor and author, John Ortberg. She served on the Executive Leadership Team and also managed a group of worship leaders, creative and production staff, facilitating multiple weekend worship services in 4 different campuses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Leanne continues to play, sing and arrange music for a weekly TV show, Place For Miracles, broadcast in millions of homes across America and around the world. She also travels with Oral Roberts Ministries, leading worship for services and events across the United States and internationally. In August of 2020, Leanne accepted the position of Worship Pastor at Redeemer Church in Tulsa, Ok, where she leads the Worship and Production teams, teaches and preaches, writes and arranges music and collaborates with other creatives within the church community.
Leanne and her husband, Alan, own and manage their real estate company, Good DayProperties, based in Tulsa, OK, renovating and renting residential and commercial properties surrounding downtown. Their real estate company has grown from 4 to over 70 properties. They currently reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with their precious daughter, Bella Jewel!
