Monthly Support

Redeemer is committed to financially supporting Mission of Hope on a monthly basis. The amount is designated to help cover the salaries of the Village Champions, within the Church Advancement department of Mission of Hope. The Village Champions are men and women who have a heart to see their village reached for Christ. As an ambassador of Mission of Hope, they act as an advocate for their neighbors and local churches. They are trained and equipped to be the hands and feet of Jesus to their village.

Disaster Relief

There was a devastating earthquake on August 14, 2021, along the southern peninsula of Haiti. Mission of Hope responded immediately and without question—having faith that the funds would come. Redeemer was able to quickly respond with a donation of $25,000 to help their efforts.

Pastoral Ministry School

A brand-new ministry school launched in October 2021 on Mission of Hope’s Haiti campus. It is a 2-year program with 65 excited young men and women. Mission of Hope had the building, as part of their larger Tech School, but was waiting on the funds to launch this new program. Redeemer has donated a one-time financial gift to cover the first two years. Adam Barnett, our Lead Pastor, was able to travel to Haiti at the end of September to be a part of the ceremony to launch the school and encourage the 65 young people. Over the next two years, Redeemer will send down strategic groups to teach in the school.

Pastoral Training

Every month over 300 pastors—from all around Haiti—gather for a time of pastoral training. Mission of Hope invites ministry leaders from the U.S. and Haiti to speak to the pastors. It is a great day, filled with teaching, encouragement, and fellowship. Adam was invited to speak at the training in September and looks forward to more leaders from Redeemer being a part of this throughout 2022.

Mission Trips

As we are planning international mission trips for 2022, we are looking first to serving with Mission of Hope. They have campuses in both Haiti and Dominican Republic and have become experts at hosting teams. Because of the holistic approach of Mission of Hope, there are many ways for teams to get involved—medical, sports, construction, etc. If serving on a mission trip interests you, or you have questions, please let us know below!
