Missie Chapman

Nursery Coordinator

Missie has worked in the nursery since 2010 and has attended church at Redeemer since 1999. Missie is married to David and has 5 children and 4 grandchildren. In her spare time Missie likes to spend time with family. She also likes participating in water aerobics and taking walks. Her favorite verse is “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

Fun Fact: I love watching football.

Julie Dietert

Nursery Assistant

Julie is from Minnesota but spent most of her childhood in Tulsa. She graduated from OSU with a communication degree and met her husband Craig while at OSU. They have 3 adult children.

Fun Fact: I love the outdoors, traveling, and love my job!

Tracy Fossett

PE Teacher

Tracy and her husband Ray have been married since 1992! They have 4 children; Jourdan (94), Will (97), Matt (99) and Abby (02), 2 grandchildren , Claire (19) and Nora (21), and 4 grand dogs. Tracy enjoys traveling with Ray ( mostly to see the grandkids) and working out!                         

Fun Fact: My husband and I started dating when I was 16 and he was 17. We dated for over 4 years before we got married!

 
 

PINK ROOM

 

Nikki Jost

Nikki has worked in the pink class since 2016. She is from Minnesota and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2009. She loves spending time with her husband Mitchell and their three daughters Lela, Abby, and Esther. You can always catch her crocheting in her free time. A verse that she strives to live life through is, Micah 6:8 And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. 

Fun Fact: I love to crochet, make jewelry, and mosaics. Anytime I can devote my energy to making something beautiful is a joy to my heart.

 

Dee Moore

In 1938, I was born in Iowa, but raised in Missouri. I graduated high school in Bethany, Class of 1957!

Following high school, I went to work for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for the next 5 years. During this time, I got married to Bob Moore, and ended up quitting to start my family. I have 4 kids, two boys & two girls. 

I’ve worked at Redeemer too many years to count, serving in the Nursery. I’ve worked there simply because I love working with the little kids.

Kassidy Marsenison

I graduated from Oklahoma State University and immediately moved with my husband to Quantico, VA to start our military journey. From there, we moved to Camp Lejeune, NC and had our first daughter. We are now happily back in Tulsa and since have had two more little ones; another daughter & a baby boy. All three attend Redeemer & we love it so much!

I began working at Redeemer in 2020 on the preschool side and now I get to experience the Mother’s Day Out program. I have always enjoyed working with littles; prior to this, I was a full-time nanny on base. It’s all I have ever done and love to do.

Fun Fact: I studied abroad to London & Scotland and absolutely loved Edinburgh.


PLUM ROOM

 

Lindsey Clark

I grew up in Oologah Oklahoma and have lived in Tulsa since 2017 with my husband and our three children. I graduated with a Master's degree from OSU in 2009 and worked for Owasso Public Schools as a Speech Pathologist until July 2020. 

I love working with kids and am so excited to be at Redeemer this year!

In my free time I enjoy gardening, traveling and spending time with my family. 

 

Fun fact: I love working puzzles!

Julie Kuykendall

I was born and raised in Bartlesville, OK. I graduated from college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. My husband John and I have been married since 1984. We have a son, James who lives in Tulsa and a daughter, Jessie who is a diplomat living in Guatemala. I don’t have any grandkids, so I get my grandma fix working with your precious children.

In January 2020, I began working at Redeemer. Prior to this I had worked for 21 years at Eliot Elementary/Tulsa Public Schools as Principal's Secretary. When my children were young I worked in Mother's Day Out programs, church nurseries, and taught children's Sunday school. 

Fun Fact: I love to read, and have been in the same book club for over 20 years!

Laci Myers

I have worked in the education industry beginning at age 16 at the center I went to as a kid. Most of my experience is in early childhood (Birth-5yrs). I Graduated TU with a Bachelor’s in Art Education. Part of my time is spent teaching the Edison High School colorguard with the marching band.  My husband and I have 3 beautiful daughters. We enjoy skating, bowling and fishing for our family time.

Sarah Hicks

Sarah and her husband, Brian have two boys, Harrison and Hudson, three dogs and two cats. Sarah graduated with a degree in Public Relations from OSU and a degree in Elementary Education from NSU. When she isn’t working with kids, she is volunteering for Oklahoma Pet Collective Society as a grant writer.

Fun Facts: I am a Jenks “lifer” as well as my husband and even my dad. I am a huge animal lover and recently accepted the position as fundraiser coordinator for a rescue where we adopted our last dog from. We have three dogs and two cats. Cleaning is my favorite hobby. :)

Hollee Porter

Hollee Porter is married to Ryan, and they have two children, Rylann and Ranen. Hollee loves working with kids and has been doing so since 1994. She has worked at Redeemer since 2010.

Kersten Speer

I grew up in a small town in southeastern Kansas and attended the University of Oklahoma where I attained a degree in education. I taught school for a couple of years in Cushing and then worked at a Montessori school in Plano before moving all over the country (and Canada) with my husbands job. I then became a stay at home mom when we had children.  My husband Jeff and I were married in 1992 and have 3 children: Allie, who is an OT in Wichita; Kara, who is a teacher in Colorado Springs; and Lucas, who is a senior at Metro Christian this year! I have worked at Redeemer’s Mothers Day Out program since 2008 (taking a few years off here and there) and have enjoyed getting to know the great families and sweet kiddos who come thru the purple  room! 

Fun fact: I played saxophone in the Pride of Oklahoma during college! 


GREEN ROOM

 

Lucy Morgan

She is married to Steven and they have two children together. She has been an RN since 2018 and a massage therapist since 2012. She is grateful for Jesus and all He has done in her life and she is thankful for her children and how God created us all unique and in His image. She enjoys teaching, laughing a lot, and helping others make connections and empowering them to feel confident in their abilities. She is constantly learning and excited to be at Redeemer.

Morgan Christie

The oldest of 7 children, Morgan and her siblings have all grown up at Redeemer Church, which they started attending in 2001. She has been attending, volunteering, and holding positions in the office and nursery for many years and is incredibly blessed to have been a part of the lives of so many children! When she isn’t trying to keep up with all the lego, dinosaur and transformer “battles” broadcast through the house by her little boy Hudson, she also enjoys keeping up with hundreds of houseplants, detailed embroidery, upcycling clothing and just about any other craft you can think of. She lives in Tulsa with her husband, her son, and their puppy and kitten.

Donna Flesner

Donna was born & raised as a farm girl in Minnesota. She held a ParaEducator position for 10 year in Missouri & Kansas. She has worked in MDO since 2014.

Her and her husband have 3 grown children & 11 grandchildren. Donna’s “life verse” has been & still is: Romans 8:28.

Erica Done

Erica has been with Redeemer MDO since 2018. She graduated from OSU in 2005. She and her husband Jeff have a son (Adam) and daughter (Claire). Erica enjoys walking their dog Eddy, hiking, yoga, gardening, cooking, reading and organizing.

Fun Fact: I am half Polish.


ORANGE ROOM

Barbara Riggs

I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I was raised there until I moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas where I graduated from high school.  I attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville where I studied commercial art.  My husband and I have been married since 1986.  Our daughter lives in Tulsa and is in graduate school at ORU.  Our son also lives in Tulsa.

I worked for a time as a cake decorator at Ann’s Bakery here in Tulsa.  When my children were born, I stayed home with them until they were ready to begin school.  Over the years, I have helped out with preschool choir and preschool Sunday School at South Tulsa Baptist Church.  I began working at Redeemer in the Mother’s Day Out program in 2009. 

Fun Fact: I have been singing in the Adult Choir at STBC for over 20 years.

 

Jessy Lorenz

Jessy is a Tulsa native and is married with two children. Her hobbies include running, crafting, gardening, drinking coffee and being with her family. She graduated from Oklahoma State with a degree in Zoology and has been teaching at Redeemer since 2020.

Fun Fact: I love to run, craft, go to the beach, and really just be outside with my family!
