MEN’S SPECIAL PROJECTS

Eden Village Tulsa is one of the brightest spots in our community’s fight against homelessness. It is a tiny home development for chronically homeless individuals. The gated community includes a community center with mental health, life skills, job assistance and faith-based counseling services. Some 27 residents now call Eden Village home with  construction efforts continuing for what ultimately will be 63 tiny homes.

Watch this page, our Men’s Monthly and/or our weekly Buzz e-newsletters for announcements about the next time our Redeemer Men at Work project will be pitching in to help this effort as a group.

On August 2, from 8:00am until noon, our Redeemer Men prepared breakfast, talked with the residents and assisted with projects that were happening on that day. We also heard a short presentation by founder (and former Redeemer member) Brad Johnson. We had the option of driving directly to Eden Village on our own or meeting in the church parking lot to carpool over with other volunteers.
