Faithful Promise
Faithful God • Week 2
The promise of our loving, faithful God is one that has lasted throughout the ages. But for many, seeing this promise, and understanding its power can be difficult to reconcile with the violence seen in the Old Testament. Bill Clark continues our study by examining this issue and reminding us of that ever-present promise that God is abounding in love and faithfulness.

Genesis 12:1-3 NIV
The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you." "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse.”
Deuteronomy 9:4 NIV
The Lord has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness. No, it is on account of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is going to drive them out before you.
Exodus 34:6 NIV
The Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, is slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
Revelation 5:9-10 NIV
And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign over the earth."
