We Affirm a Commitment to the Whole Mission of the Church.
What to Expect: Friendly, encouraging people in a welcoming atmosphere. Authentic, heartfelt worship in music. Celebration of life through the sacraments of Communion and Baptism. Relevant, Bible-based teaching. Engaging experiences for children.
The WHOLE MISSION of the church requires the WHOLE CHURCH.
“Mission is the work of the whole church on behalf of the kingdom of God. It is working with Christ for peace, reconciliation, justice, and evangelism. Mission encompasses freeing the captives, healing the sick, feeding the hungry, and telling the good news. It is life-long work, and it is holistic.”
The Great Commandment. Jesus replied:“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” - Matthew 22:37-40
The Great Commission. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20
