Ephesians 4:26 ESV
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.

Psalm 4:4 NIV
In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.

Righteous Anger is a holy reaction to what makes God angry.

1️⃣ Righteous Anger begins with humility.

2️⃣ Righteous Anger leads to grief.

3️⃣ Righteous Anger seeks redemption.

Righteous Anger begins with humility, leads us to grief, and seeks redemption.

Sinful Anger begins with ego, leads to rage, and seeks vengeance.

When we find ourselves getting angry and when those emotions start to rise up, we should stop and ask ‘What is this big thing that’s so important to me that I get this defensive? Why is my heart moved to feel angry?’ If you ask that question, more often than not, you’ll immediately be embarrassed, because many, many times, the thing you’re defending is your ego, your pride, and your self-esteem. // Tim Keller

Ephesians 4:26 ESV
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger...

Ephesians 4:27 ESV
...and give no opportunity to the devil.

Satan preys on angry hearts.
